Kathmandu: The British Embassy in Kathmandu expressed solidarity with Nepal as the nation observed a Day of Mourning on September 17 to honor those who lost their lives during the recent Gen Z protests.
The embassy extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and admired the resilience of the Nepali people. In a gesture of respect, the British flag was flown at half-mast on the day.
The embassy also reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Nepal’s interim government in its efforts to ensure a democratic and peaceful future.
