Kathmandu: The British Embassy in Kathmandu organized a Remembrance Sunday Service on November 9 to honor those who sacrificed their lives in service.
Wreaths were laid at the Gurkha Monument by Ambassador Rob Fenn, Chief of Army Staff General Ashok Raj Sigdel, Inspector General of Nepal Police Chandra Kuber Khapung, Defence Attaché Colonel Dan Rex, and Major Bal Krishna Rana, Chair of the Regimental Association Nepal (RAN).
The ceremony reflected the shared history and enduring bonds between Nepal and the United Kingdom, particularly through the service and sacrifice of the Gurkhas.
