British Embassy Urges Commitment to Tackling Climate Change in Nepal

Kathmandu: The British Embassy in Nepal extended its congratulations and support to the Green Climate Fund (GCF), which successfully approved its funding to protect vulnerable communities, livelihoods/ assets and to decrease the advancing threat of glacial lake outburst floods (GLOFs) in Nepal. 

According to the Embassy, the United Kingdom, as a top contributor to GCF, is committed to urgently tackling the climate crisis and supporting the most vulnerable communities in Nepal.
