Kathmandu: Scott Urbom, Charge d’Affaires of US Embassy, visited Peace Corps Volunteers serving communities in Lumbini Province. The Volunteers worked alongside small, agriculture-based communities to help farmers improve crop yields, strengthen soil health, and increase access to nutritious food for their families.
The Embassy stated their work reflects a long-standing partnership between the United States and Nepal. Since 1962, more than 4,000 American Volunteers have partnered with Nepali communities to address local development challenges.
