Kathmandu: The Ambassador of China to Nepal, Chen Song, met with the Prime Minister of Nepal, Sushila Karki, at her office on September 18.
According to Nepal’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both sides exchanged views on matters relating to further strengthening Nepal-China relations and promoting mutually beneficial cooperation.
Moreover, the Chinese Ambassador conveyed the congratulatory message from the Government of China to the Prime Minister on her appointment. “Stating that China respects the political as well as developmental path chosen by Nepali people, he expressed commitment for continued support to Nepal in its aspiration for development and prosperity,” the release stated.
Ambassador Song also wrote on his social media, sharing, “Great pleasure to call on Rt. Hon. PM Madam. Sushila Karki, and extend our warm congratulations and support. We exchanged views and agreed to further promote our friendship and cooperations.”
