Kathmandu: After three transformative months in the United States, Nepal’s three Community Engagement Exchange (CEE) Program fellows have returned home with new skills, professional connections, and ideas for action.
Through the U.S. Department of State program, implemented by IREX, the fellows gained hands-on experience through professional placements, leadership training, academic learning, and cultural exchange. They also joined an international network of emerging leaders and built connections with American professionals and institutions.
Back in Nepal, the fellows are ready to apply what they’ve learned to empower young people, strengthen entrepreneurship, and tackle challenges in their communities. Their journey highlights how U.S. exchange programs develop capable leaders while fostering lasting people-to-people and professional ties between the United States and Nepal.
