Kathmandu: The Chinese Embassy Youth Pioneer Program ( CNYP) is an initiative by the Chinese Embassy, with the target to empower young and patriotic pioneers in Nepal through civic engagement, cultural exchange, professional development, etc. The program seeks to nurture a network of dynamic individuals who have strong desire and enthusiasm to bring change to Nepal society and economy, and are dedicated to becoming game-changers to drive Nepal’s progress.
Ambassador of China to Nepal, H.E. Zhang Maoming, attended the launch ceremony of the 2026 Chinese Embassy Youth Pioneer Programme. Ambassador Maoming met outstanding young talents of Nepal from various fields. He expressed the hope that all CNYP members will gain valuable knowledge and skills, shine in their respective positions, and make more contributions to the development and prosperity of Nepal as well as the growth of Nepal-China relations.
The Leadership Training and Workshops includes a series of interactive workshops focusing on leadership skills and strategic thinking. Participants will be encouraged to take an in-depth perspective addressing specific social issues. A scholarship and training program will be provided by the Chinese side.
