Kathmandu: The Consulate General of India in Birgunj (Nepal) in association with Nepal-India Friendship Association (NIFA), Parsa, Nepal Innovative Society, Birgunj, Nepal Red Cross Society, Birgunj and Nepal Young Entrepreneurs Forum, Birgunj organized a Blood Donation Camp at the Consulate premises to mark the World Blood Donor Day 2026.
The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation with a good number of people voluntarily donating blood for this noble cause.The initiative reflects the spirit of selfless service and the Consulate’s commitment towards saving lives and serving the community.
On this occasion, Consulate General of India in Birgunj, Shri D.S. Meena, met with all the blood donors present, encouraged them, and congratulated and wished them all the best for this noble act of service to humanity. Blood donation not only gives a new life to someone in need, but the selfless contribution of all blood donors dedicated to society is the best example of human service, he said.
