Kathmandu: Gyan Bahadur Magar, Deputy Permanent Representative of Nepal, delivered Nepal’s statement at the 11th Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) Review Conference.
In the statement, DPR Magar reaffirmed Nepal’s commitment to general and complete disarmament, emphasizing the NPT’s central role in advancing nuclear disarmament, non-proliferation, and peaceful uses. He urged Nuclear-Weapon States to fulfill their obligations and called for equitable access to peaceful nuclear technology for developing countries, especially LDCs, in compliance with IAEA safeguards.
