Kathmandu: President of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), Lok Bahadur Thapa, attended the meeting of National Focal Points and UN Resident Coordinators at the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3).
In his address, President Thapa underscored that LLDC3 plays a central role in implementation, serving as the bridge between global frameworks and national realities. He stressed that the leadership of focal points and coordinators is crucial to translating the Awaza Programme of Action (APoA) into real impact by integrating it into national strategies and aligning sectoral plans with its priorities.
