Kathmandu: Lok Bahadur Thapa, President of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), met with Daniiar Imanaliev, Member of the Board for Integration and Macroeconomics at the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
During the meeting, they discussed the EEC’s efforts to integrate the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into national policy frameworks and its role in promoting regional economic development.
Thapa also briefed Imanaliev on the preparations underway for the 2026 High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development and the ECOSOC High-Level Segment.
