Kathmandu: Lok Bahadur Thapa, UN ECOSOC President, met with H.E. Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarli, Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, in Dushanbe.
They discussed the importance of water for economic growth, resilience and sustainable development, as well as the need to strengthen financing partnerships and resilient infrastructure investment for landlocked developing countries. They also exchanged views on advancing SDG6 and the 2030Agenda ahead of HLPF2026.
