Kathmandu: The second meeting of the Emergency Response Team (ERT), formed under the coordination of Amrit Bahadur Rai, was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nepal on March 10.
The meeting reviewed the efforts and progress made by the Government of Nepal to ensure the safety and welfare of Nepali citizens in the West Asia region.
During the discussion, the team made several decisions, including continuing necessary coordination and initiatives to protect Nepali citizens, studying the possibility of operating air flights if required, and providing assistance to Nepalis who have contacted the Emergency Control Room (ECR) and Nepali diplomatic missions.
The ERT was formed to manage the evolving situation in West Asia effectively and in a coordinated manner, with the aim of ensuring the safety and well-being of Nepali citizens in the region.
