Kathmandu: European Union Ambassador to Nepal Veronique Lorenzo held substantive meetings with Ministers Rameshore Khanal and Anil Kumar Sinha to discuss Nepal’s preparations for graduation from Least Developed Country (LDC) status.
The discussions focused on the need for stronger legal and regulatory frameworks to boost business confidence and attract greater investment. Ambassador Lorenzo reaffirmed the EU’s commitment, saying that “Europe stands ready to support Nepal in achieving sustainable and inclusive economic growth.”
