Kathmandu: Ken Shimizu, FAO Representative for Bhutan and Nepal, has observed the extensive damage and disruption caused to agriculture and forestry offices, expressing deep sorrow over the hardships faced by affected communities.
The destruction of offices, loss of vital records and laboratory equipment, and interruptions in service delivery have severely impacted essential services.
The FAO reaffirmed its solidarity with the people of Nepal, pledging continued support for recovery and resilience efforts.
