Kathmandu: FAO Nepal, through the Forest and Farm Facility (FFF) Programme, handed over an array of machinery to strengthen the Binayi Biofertilizer Enterprise of the Binayi Community Forest Users Group in Nawalparasi.
The organization stated that the investment supports the scale-up of sustainable bio-fertilizer production thereby transforming forest biomass into valuable inputs while creating income opportunities and promoting climate-resilient agriculture.
The initiative highlighted how community forestry can go beyond conservation to drive green enterprises, reduce forest fire risks, improve soil fertility, and strengthen resilient rural livelihoods -particularly for women and marginalized communities.
FAO Nepal further extended their congratulations to the Binayi Community Forest Users Group, FECOFUN, local government partners, and all community members for their leadership and commitment
