Kathmandu: Embassy of Finland and Embassy of Norway works together with UNDP and WFP Nepal to advance the International School Meals initiative, supporting better nutrition and learning for every child.
The initiative updates a national home-grown school feeding framework which rolls out a model that strengthens local supply chains, improves food quality, and keeps investments within communities, linking farmers to schools. It is a homegrown approach that ensures school meal investments stay in the community, supporting smallholder farmers, traders, transporters, and women-led cooperatives.
