Kathmandu: Minister of Foreign Affairs Shisir Khanal held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Elina Valtonen, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Finland, on the sidelines of UNGA on September 23. Minister Khanal conveyed sincere gratitude on behalf of the Government and people of Nepal for her heartfelt condolences and sympathies regarding the loss of lives and property caused by the recent devastating floods and landslides in Nepal.
“During our talks, we exchanged views on various aspects of Nepal-Finland relations. We discussed ways to further strengthen our bilateral ties and enhance cooperation across multilateral platforms in areas of mutual interest,” said Minister Khanal.
In addition, there was also a discussion on strengthening bilateral relations in areas of mutual interest.
