Kathmandu: Hon. Minister for Foreign Affairs, Shisir Khanal, received a telephone call from the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Venezuela, Felix Plasencia, on August 29.
During the call, Minister Plasencia conveyed, on behalf of the President of Venezuela, heartfelt condolences of the Government and people of Venezuela on the loss of lives and property by the devastating floods and expressed support and solidarity of Venezuela at this difficult time.
Minister Khanal expressed his sincere gratitude to the President and the Government of Venezuela for the support and solidarity.
He added that the Government is utilising all resources at its disposal for search, rescue and relief efforts for all those affected.
