Kathmandu: Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai met with Dulguun Damdin-Od, Executive Director of the International Think Tank for Landlocked Developing Countries (ITTLLDC), on the margins of the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA81).
Both sides held cordial discussions on ITTLLDC’s work to advance the shared interests of LLDCs, including connectivity and aviation, climate change, critical minerals, youth engagement, and effective implementation of the Awaza Programme of Action.
The meeting underscored the importance of strengthened regional and international cooperation, knowledge-sharing, research and development, and collective action to address the structural challenges faced by LLDCs and advance their inclusive, sustainable development.
