Former Deputy PM Urges Israeli Ambassador to Prioritize Release of Bipin Joshi

Kathmandu: Israeli Ambassador to Nepal, Shmulik Arie Bass, held a meeting with Bimalendra Nidhi, former Deputy Prime Minister and senior leader of the Nepali Congress.

During the meeting, Nidhi urged the Ambassador to give high priority to the release of Bipin Joshi, a Nepali citizen who has been held captive by Hamas in Gaza since October 7, 2023.

The two also discussed a range of topics, including strengthening Nepal-Israel bilateral relations, reviving the ‘Learn and Earn’ program, and other multilateral issues of mutual interest.
