Kathmandu: French Ambassador to Nepal, H.E. Virginie Corteval, paid a courtesy call on Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav on July 9.
French Ambassador and Vice President discussed various issues relating to Nepal-France relations during the meeting, as per Vice President’s secretariat.
Vice President Yadav said Nepal and France have been enjoying bilateral relations based on mutual respect, cooperation and friendship. Nepal’s political movements are inspired by values of french revolution such as freedom and equality, he added.
Yadav extended gratitude to France for its support to Nepal through European Union. He wished peace, prosperity and happiness of the french President and people via the Ambassador on France’s upcoming National Day.
On the occasion, Ambassador Corteval said efforts were made to bolster France-Nepal relations during her term.
