The Embassy of Germany in Nepal has handed over art kits for an upcoming project aimed at supporting children affected by recent landslides in Manang.
According to a social media post by the German Embassy, the art supplies will be distributed through METAL for NEPAL, a UK-registered charity that brings together the global music and tattoo communities to support disadvantaged children in remote areas of Nepal.
The initiative aims to help children in Manang resume learning, develop their creativity and cope with the emotional impact of the recent landslides, which disrupted lives in the district.
METAL for NEPAL and its volunteers are scheduled to travel to Manang in November to deliver the supplies directly to the children.
The embassy also shared that loading the boxes into its vintage Volkswagen Beetle was a special and memorable part of the initiative.
