Germany Provides €39,000 Grant to Support Disaster Relief in Nepal

Kathmandu: The Ambassador of Germany to Nepal, Udo Volz, signed a grant agreement worth 39,000 euros with WHH Nepal – Welthungerhilfe on October 28.

The agreement aims to provide immediate relief and early recovery assistance to disaster-affected households in Ilam. Moreover, on behalf of Deutsche Welthungerhilfe, Country Director Shakeb Nabi had signed the agreement.

The project, to be implemented locally by Rural Reconstruction Nepal (RRN), focuses on delivering lifesaving support and strengthening community resilience to future disasters. The German government’s contribution underscores its continued solidarity with Nepal in times of humanitarian need.
