Kathmandu: The Health Care Waste Management System established at Manakot Health Post in Bajura has been formally handed over to Gaumul Municipality under the RHEA Project, supported by the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Kathmandu.
The system aims to ensure safer handling and disposal of medical waste, strengthen infection prevention, and promote a healthier environment for health workers, patients and the wider community. Gaumul Municipality has committed to replicating the model in other health facilities across the area.
