Kathmandu: ICIMOD announced the 12 winners of the Hindu Kush Himalaya Innovation Challenge for Entrepreneurs (HKH-ICE 2.0)
Chosen from a highly competitive pool of applicants from Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, and Nepal, the 12 winners were recognized at the Leadership Academy by Pema Gyamtsho, Director General of ICIMOD, alongside H.E. Rob Fenn, Ambassador of UK to Nepal, and Jesper Hörnberg, CEO of the Global Resilience Partnership, on June 1. Each winner received mentoring, leadership development, and prizes from USD 5,000 to 25,000.
HKH-ICE 2.0 was an initiative of ICIMOD’s Himalayan Resilience Enabling Action Programme (HI-REAP) funded by UK International Development.
