Kathmandu: ILO Nepal organized the Annual Tripartite Decent Work Country Programme Steering Committee (DWCP) meeting on May 13.
The meeting brought together stakeholders from government, employers, & workers to review progress under Nepal’s 2023–2027 framework, align priorities, & develop joint strategies to shape the way forward.
Launched in December 2023, the DWCP promotes decent work for all through inclusive, sustainable, and gender-responsive growth, aligned with Nepal’s national priorities and the Sustainable Development Goals.
The meeting focused on reviewing progress, discussing achievements and challenges, and shaping a shared strategy for this biennium, incorporating suggestions and key constructive recommendations for each priority area. It also aimed to strengthen understanding of current results, and planned interventions for 2026–27.
