Kathmandu: India has issued a travel advisory for its citizens in light of the situation created by the recent Gen-Z protests on September 8 and 9.
The Embassy of India in Nepal urged Indian nationals to exercise caution while traveling, though it noted that the situation has improved significantly.
“The situation in Nepal has improved compared to the last few weeks. Road transport and flights are operating regularly. However, Indian citizens traveling to Nepal are advised to exercise caution and follow advisories issued by the Embassy or local administration,” the advisory stated.
The Embassy has also shared helpline and emergency contact numbers, along with an email address, for the assistance of Indian citizens, urging them to reach out if required.
