Kathmandu: Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava called on Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in Singhadurbar on October 30.
During the meeting, discussions were held on bilateral relations, cooperation and other issues of common interests, the Ministry stated. On the occasion, Minister Kharel appreciated India’s supports and goodwill extended for Nepal’s social and political developments.
Minister Kharel stated that the key priorities of the government were to hold elections in a free and fair manner, control corruption and promote good-governance.
Likewise, the Indian Ambassador expressed India’s commitment to support for Nepal’s economic transformation and prosperity through fiscal and technical assistance. Officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Communications and Information Technology were also present at the meeting.
