Indian Delegation Assesses Groundwater in Nepal’s Terai

Kathmandu: A three-member team of technical experts from India’s Ministry of Jal Shakti arrived in Janakpur to assess the groundwater situation in Nepal’s Terai region. The delegation will suggest measures to address water scarcity.

During the visit, the team met Ram Kumar Khang, Acting Secretary of Madhesh Province’s Ministry of Energy, Irrigation and Water Supply, and carried out field inspections in Dhanusha district with local officials.
