Kathmandu: The Embassy of India organized a gathering to commemorate the first anniversary of Operation Sindoor, launched in the aftermath of the dastardly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April 2025, where 26 civilians including a Nepali citizen Sudip Neupane were killed.
A message from the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Shisir Khanal, was read out on the occasion, expressing solidarity with the people of India, unequivocally condemning the barbaric terrorist attack and reaffirming the collective resolve of India and Nepal to confront and eradicate the darkness of terrorism.
Members of the Indian diaspora in Nepal, representatives of the Nepal-India Friendship Association, and officials of the Embassy participated in the commemoration and stood in solemn remembrance of the innocent civilians who lost their lives in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam.
