Kathmandu: Mohammad Fathali, Non-resident Ambassador of Iran to Nepal, gave his Letters of Credence to President Ramchandra Paudel on May 21.
The Letters of Credence were given amidst a special ceremony held at the Office of the President, Sheetal Niwas.
Following the ceremony, President Paudel granted audience to the newly appointed ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Nepal. During the audience, the President also expressed his concerns regarding Amrit Jha,a Nepali national currently detained in Iran.
