IRGDD President Visits Shumei Headquarters and Miho Museum, Highlights Cultural Diplomacy and Nepal–Japan Ties

Kathmandu: Amb. Dr. Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal, President of the International Relations and Global Diplomacy Dialogue (IRGDD), visited the Shumei Headquarters and the Miho Museum, where she was warmly welcomed by Director Dr. Isao Kumakura.

The visit underscored the importance of cultural diplomacy in strengthening international relations, with reflections on shared values of heritage, harmony, and artistic expression. Discussions remained broad, focusing on cultural exchange and the role of institutions in fostering deeper people-to-people connections.

The President also highlighted the cultural significance of tea traditions in both Nepal and Japan, noting their role as symbols of mindfulness, hospitality, and social connection, offering a unique bridge for cultural understanding between the two countries.
