Kathmandu: Amb. Dr. Sarmila Parajuli Dhakal, President of the International Relations & Global Diplomacy Dialogue (IRGDD), held a high-level consultation with Bimal Prasad Baral, Secretary at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communication, Madhesh Province, to deliberate on strategic national priorities and the evolving role of diplomatic institutionalism within Nepal’s governance framework.
The meeting served as a significant step in advancing Track 1.5 diplomacy, bridging governmental and non-governmental expertise to support informed policy dialogue and international engagement. Discussions focused on aligning provincial governance mechanisms with broader national and global diplomatic strategies, particularly in the context of Nepal’s growing role in regional and international affairs.
Amb. Dr. Dhakal reaffirmed IRGDD’s position as a leading Track 1.5 diplomacy platform, dedicated to providing expert advisory support, policy insights, and strategic advocacy on issues of national importance.
