Kathmandu: The Embassy of Japan assisted in enhancing the resilience to disaster risks in Achham and Kailali District. The Handover ceremonies of the multipurpose community evacuation shelters were held on April 10 and April 12.
These projects are supported by the Government of Japan and implemented by Japanese NGO, World Vision Japan, and aim to strengthen community resilience to disaster risks caused by recurring disasters including floods, landslides.
