Kathmandu: Shimada Tomoaki, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, paid a courtesy call on President Ram Chandra Paudel on March 4.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the President’s recent successful visit to Japan and reviewed ongoing bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
Vice-Minister Shimada also reiterated Japan’s continued support for Nepal’s upcoming general election. The interaction reflected the close and friendly relations between Nepal and Japan, as well as Japan’s commitment to supporting Nepal’s democratic processes.
