Kathmandu: Shimada Tomoaki, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, held a meeting with Ram Prasad Bhandari, Chief Commissioner of the Election Commission Nepal, on March 4.
During the meeting, the two officials exchanged views on Nepal’s electoral process and ongoing cooperation between Nepal and Japan. The discussion also reflected Japan’s continued interest in supporting Nepal’s democratic institutions and electoral system.
