JICA And Tribhuvan University Organize a Special Lecture Program

Kathmandu: JICA Nepal, in collaboration with the Faculty of Education, Tribhuvan University (TU), organised a special lecture program by Dr. Kayashima Nobuko, JICA Senior Research Advisor, on June 2.

The event hosted approximately 50 esteemed guests, including former Vice Chancellors of TU and Nepal Open University, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Campus Chiefs, and faculty members from TU, alongside the Chief Representative, JICA Education Experts, and officials from the JICA Nepal Office.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Kayashima shared her invaluable insights, focusing on best practices, challenges, and opportunities in higher education. The program was designed to encourage an exchange of ideas and knowledge, contributing to the strengthening of educational ties between the two nations.

This symposium was a unique opportunity to delve into Japan’s experiences in higher education and to explore future collaborations between Nepal and Japan, fostering meaningful dialogue that could help shape the future of higher education in Nepal and beyond.
