Kathmandu: At consultations with the COP-30 President-Designate, Ambassador Lok Bahadur Thapa, Chair of the Least Developed Countries (LDC) Group, called for an ambitious outcome at COP30.
He emphasized the need for a clear commitment on the New Collective Quantified Goal (NCQG), ambitious new Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), and the full operationalization of the Loss and Damage Fund.
