Kathmandu: Hon. Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, met with the British Ambassador to Nepal, H.E. Rob Fenn, to discuss strengthening Nepal–UK cooperation in hydropower, renewable energy, energy security, climate resilience, and investment.
The discussion, held on June 3, was focused on strengthening Nepal–United Kingdom cooperation in the energy sector, including hydropower development, renewable energy, energy security, climate resilience, and investment opportunities. The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment of Nepal and the United Kingdom to advancing sustainable energy development and fostering stronger bilateral relations for mutual prosperity.
