Kathmandu: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) organized a MoFA-Media Meet and Interaction Programme on April 20.
In his welcome remarks, Foreign Secretary Amit Bahadur Rai underlined the value of open exchange of views in helping to communicate and advance the Government’s priorities.
Spokesperson Lok Bahadur Chhetri made a presentation, sharing updates on foreign affairs, the Ministry’s broad priorities, including economic and public diplomacy, and a few ongoing matters, including the situation of Nepali nationals in West Asia.
Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal highlighted the media’s important role in conveying Nepal’s foreign policy priorities and contributing to a balanced and positive international image of the country.
Chief Editors, Editors, senior writers and analysts were also present and the programme concluded with an interactive and constructive exchange of views.
