Kathmandu: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized a programme to bid farewell to Minister for Foreign Affairs Bala Nanda Sharma on March 25.
On the occasion, Minister Sharma expressed his sincere appreciation to Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai as well as to the entire MoFA team for their support and dedication during his tenure.
The Foreign Secretary Rai extended his sincere gratitude to the Minister for his leadership and guidance during his important tenure.
MoFA stated that the tenure of the Minister will be remembered for his contributions in ensuring safety and well-being of Nepali nationals in West Asia; promoting Nepal’s soft power with initiatives such as the declaration of 15 April as International Wellness Day by UN and the creation as well as operation of Nepali Diplomacy handle on social media and concluding the 12th NRN Global Conference (GC) and NRNA International General Assembly.
