NAC Begins Kathmandu-Guangzhou Direct Flight From September 25

Kathmandu: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) is set to operate direct flights between Kathmandu and Guangzhou, China, starting Thursday, September 25. This will be the first time the national flag carrier launches services on the Kathmandu–Guangzhou–Kathmandu route.

Executive Chair Yubaraj Adhikari said all technical preparations have been completed, with three flights scheduled per week. Following the inaugural flight on September 25, services will operate every Sunday, Tuesday, and Saturday. The one-way fare from Kathmandu to Guangzhou has been set at Rs 30,000, while a round-trip ticket will cost Rs 50,000.

Currently, Himalaya Airlines and China Southern Airlines also operate regular flights on this route.

With Guangzhou added as its latest destination, Nepal Airlines now operates flights to 11 destinations across nine countries, using its two narrow-body and two wide-body aircraft. Its routes include Doha, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai, Hong Kong, Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Bangkok, Dammam, and Narita.
