Nepal and Bangladesh Discuss Expanding Trade, Textile Cooperation, and Air Connectivity

Kathmandu: The Ambassador of Nepal to Bangladesh, Ghanashyam Bhandari, held a meeting with Sheikh Bashir Uddin, Advisor to the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Jute and Textiles, and Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation of Bangladesh, on October 16.

During their meeting, the discussion centered on enhancing trade linkages between Nepal and Bangladesh, with both sides recognizing the potential for deeper economic cooperation. Special focus was given to expanding collaboration in the jute and textiles sector.

The two also discussed improving air connectivity between Dhaka and Kathmandu, emphasizing the need to make Biman Bangladesh flights more affordable and accessible for travelers.
