Kathmandu: The Nepal-Bangladesh Joint Art Exhibition and Workshop 2025 for Children was successfully organized by the Commercial Artist’s Association of Nepal (CAAN) at the Nepal Art Council, Kathmandu, from 11 to 13 October 2025.
Md. Shafiqur Rahman, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Nepal, graced the inauguration ceremony as the Chief Guest. The event was also attended by Sagar S. J. B. Rana, President of the Nepal Art Council, and Anita Lama, Deputy Mayor of Budhanilkantha Municipality.
In his remarks, Ambassador Rahman highlighted the vital role of artists as catalysts in fostering friendship and understanding between neighboring nations. He praised the creativity and imagination of young artists, emphasizing art as a powerful medium of communication and cultural exchange between Bangladesh and Nepal.
The Ambassador also expressed his appreciation to the organizers, curators, and facilitators for their efforts in bringing together the two countries through art and culture.
Later, Ambassador Rahman hosted a dinner reception at the Bangladesh House, Kathmandu, in honor of the visiting participants from Bangladesh and local organizers from Nepal.
