Kathmandu: Finance Minister Rameshwor Khanal attended the Nepal-China Cooperation and Investment Programme organized on December 17.
During his address, Finance Minister Rameshwor Khanal underscored the need for reinforcing economic cooperation between Nepal and China and increasing investment accordingly.
Additionally, Finance Minister Khanal informed that Nepal government had launched various schemes for economic reform, so Chinese investors could mobilize their capital with confidence.
According to Minister Khanal, Nepal and China can further enhance cooperation by identifying various sectors of investment, so that it could help attract foreign investment
During the programme, the Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Chen Song, discussed the multifaceted relations between China and Nepal. He stated that China is interested in investing in industry, energy, and the construction of infrastructure in Nepal.
