Kathmandu: Commander-in-Chief of Nepal Army Maharathi Ashok Raj Sigdel returned to Nepal on September 19 after completing his official visit to China. He was escorted to the Tribhuvan International Airport by Pradeep Jung K.C.
During his visit, the Commander-in-Chief had a courtesy meeting with the Chinese Minister of Defense and senior military officials and also visited Chinese military training and education institutions and units including the National Defense University (NDU). During his stay in China, he also participated in the 13th Beijing Xiangshan Forum held in Beijing.
The Nepali Army said this kind of visit will help to strengthen the cordial bilateral relations between the two countries.
