Kathmandu: Minister for Foreign Affairs Shisir Khanal held a telephone conversation on April 23 with Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, discussing bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.
During the call, Safadi congratulated Khanal on assuming office as Nepal’s Foreign Minister. The two leaders exchanged views on Nepal-Jordan relations and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation at both bilateral and multilateral levels for mutual benefit.
Minister Khanal also expressed appreciation to the Government of Jordan for ensuring the safety of many Nepali nationals amid the ongoing conflict in the region.
Both sides agreed to continue working together to further enhance ties and collaboration in areas of shared interest.
