Kathmandu: The Embassy of Nepal participated in the 27th annual Travel and Vacation Show held in Ottawa, Canada on April 11 to April 12. The Embassy had set up a separate stall at the event, showcasing various tourism promotional materials, including traditional artifacts and authentic Nepali products highlighting Nepal’s natural beauty, cultural heritage and artistry, and played promotional documentaries and videos highlighting major touristic attractions in Nepal.
A large number of holidaymakers and travel enthusiasts visited the Nepali stall. The Embassy responded to queries on air connectivity, visa matters, and popular tourism activities, including mountaineering, trekking, meditation and wellbeing. The Embassy also distributed informative brochures, pamphlets, posters and other promotional materials to the visitors.
According to the Embassy, a large number of travel agencies, tourism boards as well as diplomatic representatives participated in the Travel and Vacation Show as one of the major travel shows in Eastern Canada. The show provided an excellent platform to promote Nepal’s unique tourism attractions and broaden its appeal among Canadian travellers.
