Kathmandu: The Consulate General of Nepal in New York participated in the New York PATA Trade Show held in Manhattan, on October 27, to promote Nepal as a premier travel destination.
Speaking on the occasion, Consul General Dadhiram Bhandari urged participants to prioritize Nepal in their travel packages and to spread the message that Nepal is safe to visit and offers diverse holiday options for all age groups. He highlighted that the United States remains a major source market for Nepal’s tourism industry, ranking as the second-largest in recent months.
Sharing Nepal’s iconic tourism themes, “Once Is Not Enough” and “Nepal: Lifetime Experiences”, Bhandari encouraged participants to feature Nepal prominently in their promotional activities.
The Consulate showcased and distributed tourism promotional materials provided by the Nepal Tourism Board and shared travel information with tour operators and industry professionals. The event offered opportunities to promote Nepal, build networks, and reinforce the message that the country is safe and welcoming for travelers.
The New York PATA Trade Show brought together airlines, tourism boards, and global travel leaders for exhibitions, presentations, and networking. The Consulate continues to collaborate with the PATA New York Chapter to promote Nepal across the east coast of the United States.
